sencha

Sencha

Sencha is Japan's most beloved tea. It gives you mental alertness and a soothing calm sensation without the jitterines of coffee. Sencha is steamed to prevent oxidization. The leaves are rolled, shaped, and dried creating the traditional thin cylindrical shape of the tea. Finally, after drying the leaves, they are fired, aiding in their preservation and flavor.

hoji

Hoji

Hojicha is roasted green tea with toasty, slightly caramelized taste. It comes with all the health benefits but with almost no caffeine, making it safe and nutritious for infants. Hojicha is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal. The tea is fired at a high temperature, changing the leaf color from green to reddish-brown.

genmai

Genmai

Sweet and a bit nutty, Genmaicha combines popped brown rice with Sencha leaves for a more intense flavor. And it is great for digestion. Genmaicha combines brown rice that is slowly roasted until golden, then corasely grounded with dried tea leaves.
